The guideforcemoment will rock the engine, H-moments influence sideways, the top of the motor. For large engines 8 –14 cylinders, the X-moments twist the engine, see illustrations. The installation of hydraulic dampers ( de-tuners ) between hull and engine each end, on one side or both, are a good and simple solution.
